Our mission
The greatest impact we can have is to promote the health and wellness of communities by empowering individuals and families to make healthy lifestyle choices – and by offering premium quality products sourced from the abundance of nature. We strive to be authentic and transparent where we produce and procure the very best in local and international lifestyle products.
We want to create eco-friendly and chemical-free products straight from nature, useful things that people can use to enhance their healthy holistic lifestyles. Our mission is to have everything we use in our households, on our bodies, and on our pets, come from nature, and have it all made in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
Our special people
Mohammed and Fatma Al Khater – Founders
Five years ago, twins Mohammed and Fatma Al Khater took over the family farm. Mohammed had developed interests in reviving time-honoured Arabic medicinal herbs, and re-establishing native Qatari flora, particularly plants that had traditional uses in the local culture, either as food or as medicine. Fatma had grown aware of the disconnect that we have as a population with the land and our understanding of where our food comes from. She was inspired by the farmers markets of the UK and wanted to be able use the farm to grow organic fresh produce, then create a local market in an effort to reconnect people with their food and inspire a new community of like-minded people.

Every single item Torba creates has been produced to the highest quality standards. We pride ourselves on being open and transparent, and always seek to make the best product we can using the best natural raw materials. We do not compromise on any step in the growing or production process, ensuring the product you end up with is the best of its kind.
The Story
Torba is different and we like that about ourselves. We incorporate traditional permaculture techniques, harness ancient knowledge and wisdom to farm in ways that are sustainable, cyclical, produce satisfying results, are nourishing for the soil, and symbiotic with the environment. All in a desert environment.
Torba Farm has become a green oasis for many native flora and fauna, and is a beacon of sustainability in Qatar. The farm continues to impress with its ability to produce high-quality vegetables, herbs and traditional plants.
As the farm has flourished, so to have the ambitions of the twin siblings. The Farmers Market and the Torba Store are important fixtures in Qatar’s cultural landscape, showcasing organic produce from the farm, offering freshly grown vegetables from a variety of local farms, as well as artisan products from enterprising local small business owners.
Additionally, Torba Naturals has developed a large selection of over 100 essential oils and absolutes, many of which have been sourced from plants harvested from the farm. Also included is a range of high-quality hydrosols, as well as a variety of handmade health and wellness products all of which are made using raw ingredients from the farm.
Beyond fresh organic produce and exclusive health and wellness products, Torba also produces a niche collection of chemical-free and environmentally friendly household cleaning solutions. We have so much more to show you. It’s a story that is still being written.
We work with local artisans who are passionate about sustainability, producing high quality and eco-friendly products. We have worked closely with each small business owner to develop an exclusive range of local artisan products for you to discover and love forever.
